Biography
Physio, mum and runner!
After various issues with my first pregnancy, I developed a career-changing interest in the field of pelvic health physiotherapy, establishing a specialist clinic at London Bridge Hospital before setting up and independent clinic.
I treat women of all ages with all women’s health-related conditions. I specialise in supporting women during their pregnancies, enabling women back to exercise, postpartum. Alongside this I work and consult in elite sport for the Netball Player’s Association, Harlequins Women’s Rugby and Chelsea Women’s football team.
I co-founded The Athletic Female, an online education program for anyone working with female athletes and I am a current expert for the FIFA female health project
As a passionate runner, I co-authored the UK’s first Return to Running Postnatal Guidelines, alongside further scientific publications and, have authored my very own book focussing on protecting, healing and nurturing the body through motherhood, published by Ebury.
I am passionate about educating and informing women about their pelvic health and invite you to listen to my new podcast 'At your Cervix' which aims to bust taboos and open conversation around pelvic health.
Outside of work, I have a young, active family and set up and lead the successful Oxted Ladies Run Club, a friendly, sociable club for runners, joggers, power and endurance walkers!
